Hello, here’s the current update on F’Deem!
Past while has mostly been fixing the pieces with the older hole type (though theres still more to go, mainly all the letter pieces), fixing and improving some pieces (biggest change being the flag stripe), and 2 new ones.
The two new ones are the Glass Poco Grande and Pony Flop Hair. I will note however to not print the Flop Hair just yet as I’m still trying to iron out some tolerances on it that make it difficult to attach to heads.
The glass is also a break in the hole design standard that I might retroactively apply to other 1x1 pieces, as it basically has 0 grip when printed with the standard hole. This is because PLA seems to resist clutching when it doesn’t have enough material surrounding it to keep the whole things solid. I do advise printing smaller pieces with more infill, but sometimes this isn’t enough. For now it will have a full 0 tolerance hole clutching the entire stud which seems to do the trick.
This also is the first piece ponies should be able to hold, but they can’t! I do intend on making a connection piece for this purpose soon, though also most pony holding pieces should have a sideways stud specifically for holding- I just thought it’d look too weird on a glass drink when just trying to be placed in sets.
